Erica Camilo

Founder and Managing Director

A proven communications professional with more than a decade of experience navigating clients’ communications needs while aligning PR and marketing activities, Erica determines the best PR approach and messaging strategy for Connexa clients. A dedicated writer (and AP Style Guide lover) and media/analyst relations expert, Erica has a talent for finding the story angles and messages that will tell the right story to the right audience through the right influencers and outlets.

Previously serving as Director of Client Services for BluePoint Venture Marketing and Scratch Marketing + Media, she drove the strategy and execution of PR campaigns for public companies, high-growth technology startups and VCs. In her previous life at the Horn Group, she managed PR accounts to establish international and startup companies through strategic PR campaigns.

Erica earned a master’s degree in corporate public relations from Boston University after graduating with honors from Boston College. Above all, she adores spending time with her three sons and anything that involves sun, sand and the sound of ocean waves.

Carole Hutchinson

Principal Media Relations Specialist

A seasoned PR practitioner, Carole focuses on generating top-tier media results to help Connexa clients achieve their business goals. After spending the majority of her career on the agency-side working on a broad range of B2B technologies and participating in all aspects of strategic account work, Carole now focuses on her passion – producing top-notch media relations results.

Carole has worked at some of the best boutique agencies, including the Horn Group and BluePoint Venture Marketing, working on major enterprise brands (Novell, CMP, BT), well-established mid-sized players (1E, Adify, SailPoint) and growing startups (Pursway and LockPath).

Carole is a native of Toronto, Canada and has a master’s degree in corporate communications from Boston University. Her two children (and their fabulous wardrobes) have helped her channel her love of designer fashion in the midst of a career focused on technology.
